Great news for ppp users!
Finally Paul Mackerras merged most of our ppp patches, and looks like he wants to make a new release soon! I'm currently busy discussing with him the last few patches left.
I uploaded a new tin snapshot linked with the new libidn. Now it should have working IDN support. (BTW, check here if your browser understands IDN: http://€.linux.it/.)
I see heavy activity on the udev mailing list, so expect a new package soon with the new configuration file format. But don't expect it to be useful as a devfs replacement for at least one more month.
I'm still getting a huge number of trivially filterable open proxy spams from the BTS, which since about a week has a > 24h turnaround time for many messages....
