I'm bored
These are the last days before the freeze and I should work on my packages, but after going to the beach for the past two weeks and being away for a few days visiting some friends I'm currently not much interested in my packages.
udev needs a lot of work, it's full of subtle issues and bugs^H^H^H^Hunexpected features. If it were not a dependency of some other packages I would have requested to keep it out of sarge. (So, if you like udev please look at the bugs list and send patches.)
vacation needs some work too, but it's frozen so I don't feel motivated to work on it. It's also important considering that email autoresponders should not be used anymore. (Is anybody interested in adopting it? There are a few patches to merge and then it should be integrated in GNU mailutils.)
At least, today I uploaded a new module-init-tools, which should be close to a releasable state.
BTW, does anybody know why after a recent upgrade of unstable gnome-open opens each page in a new window instead of using a new tab in the existing galeon window?
I'm not displeased to read that cdrecord has become non-free: now it is more probable that it will be forked and maintained by somebody who is not a complete asshole.
