tales of a debian maintainer

speaking in the name of the project

When I joined Debian I do not remember agreeing to use anything else than the DFSG to evaluate the freeness of licenses, so I wonder why Branden Robinson is depicting his own view of the DFSG as it were as if it were the official position of the project.

I'm not surprised at all by the statements of the Real employee, as he is confused about the same issues of debian-legal which I discussed in other posts in this blog.

I wonder why the supporters of the many tests have not proposed yet DFSG amendments, if they think that it fails at protecting the freedom of Debian.
